Supporting Hands-On Experience in Tribal Healthcare Settings

The American Indian Health - Area Health Education Center (AIH-AHEC) supports students completing clinical rotations at Tribal healthcare facilities by providing stipends to help offset expenses. This financial support ensures that students can focus on gaining hands-on experience in culturally competent care while serving Indigenous communities. Through these stipends, AIH-AHEC helps strengthen the future Tribal healthcare workforce by making clinical training more accessible and sustainable.
